I think most people fall into two categories when it comes to Valentine’s Day: they either love it or they hate it. Garry and I fell into the latter camp for the most part; we really didn’t like celebrating Valentine’s Day because it was a forced “love your partner” holiday. But then, without fail, the day would sneak up on us and Garry would be happily oblivious (and probably thankful he was off the hook) and I would get a little mopey. Every year, I’d give him a hard time at the last minute about not getting me anything for Valentine’s Day and he would scramble to find a card and he would always write the most lovely things to me. He was such a good man and I miss him so much. But I know he would be rolling his eyes at Valentine’s Day even now and it makes me smile to think about it. He was always good at making me laugh.
Despite my love/hate relationship with Valentine’s Day, I am always on the lookout for fun, unique gifts for the occasion. Just in case you’re in the camp that loves Valentine’s Day, I thought I’d share with you some of the best unique gifts I found while browsing Amazon. I adore unique gifts, especially the kind that makes you laugh. I think a lot of these would be fantastic gifts for the man or woman in your life, or your best friend, or even yourself!
I am a sucker for bath bombs!!!! I love the tshirt too, hehe.
What a great round-up of gift ideas!
My husband loves mugs and socks! Cute ideas here. Thanks!
These are great ideas! We tend to keep it pretty tame for Valentine’s Day, but thoughtful little things are always nice.
Fun ideas! I like the Harry Potter remote control wand – a friend of mine has one of those. I also really like the Q and A book for couples.
