It’s home tour day, y’all!!! Today I’m being joined by nine other home decor bloggers for our Touch of Fall Home Tour blog hop. We are so excited to be welcoming you into our festive fall homes!
If you’re hopping on over from Crisp Collective, welcome! I’m Cheyenne, wife to an amazing guy named Garry and mama to two crazy beautiful kiddos, Aislin (4.5) and Hawkins (2.5). We live in the ridiculously hot and humid city of Houston, Texas. We just moved to a new home across the city and I am slowly but surely making it a haven for our family. So, while my home is still a big work in progress, I still want to welcome you and hope you enjoy this year’s Touch of Fall Home Tour!
If you’ve been following along in my Room by Room Fall Decor series, you may notice how I incorporated some of the inspiration I shared with you in those posts. It has been so fun to decorate our new home for fall (it’s my favorite season to decorate for!) and I tried not to go overboard, but I’m pretty sure my husband thinks I have a pumpkin problem. #sorrynotsorry
Anyway, without further ado, welcome to my fall home!

Front Porch
I love to pull out my handmade Harvest sign as soon as it’s reasonable to decorate my porch for fall! This is actually a double sided sign (the other side is painted for Christmas) and it was so easy to make! Stay tuned in the next week or so for a tutorial on making this sign!
I love my front door “wreath” this year! It took me all of 30 seconds to make. I literally stuffed two bunches of faux florals from Michael’s into a grapevine hanger from Hobby Lobby and I hung it on the door. Quick and easy projects are my FAVORITE!
I grabbed my welcome mat at Hobby Lobby the other day and matched it with a pretty woven rug I found at At Home. I am loving the layered look this season!

Entryway
When you walk into my house, the first thing you’ll see is my antique buffet. I love this piece because it gives me a lot of storage space and I love to decorate it for the seasons. Some of my favorite decor pieces go on this buffet, like my antique seltzer bottle and brass candlesticks.
This large silver Pottery Barn bowl is one of my all time favorite thrift store finds! I love to fill it with seasonal flowers in the fall.

Dining Room
My dining room is right off the entryway and it is filled with light! I still have to get a rug in here and paint the walls, but this room is one of my favorites to decorate for fall.
This year my place settings are accented by cute little dessert plates I found at Michael’s. I love their simple elegance! I found the burlap placemats at Michael’s as well. They are so versatile!
I also love to decorate my vintage tea cart with all my fall servingware. I just love my pumpkin soup tureen and the three tiered tray. They are so useful for hosting friends and family for dinner!

Kitchen
One of my favorite things about having a large island is all the real estate I have to decorate! This crate is one of my favorite places to include seasonal decor.
I don’t like to go overboard in my kitchen. Simple touches like pumpkins and florals really made a difference and don’t overwhelm the space.

Living Room
I focused more on grays, blues and creamy whites for my fall decor this year. These are the colors I prefer in my everyday decor, but for fall decor I think they’re especially beautiful. I love to add pumpkins, florals, fluffy blankets and throw pillows to my living room decor in the fall.
For my mantle this year, I wanted to keep things simple. I added some greenery, pumpkins and brass candlesticks to compliment our new reclaimed wood feature wall. I love it!
I always try to decorate the top of our piano seasonally. My scale is the perfect place to add a few pumpkins!

Master Bedroom
Finally, the last stop on my home tour is our bedroom. I keep things pretty simple in here too. One of my favorite additions that I added this year are these beautiful watercolor pumpkin prints courtesy of Nina Hendrick Blog. Aren’t they pretty?
Our new faux mantle is the most decorated space in our bedroom. I mean, I have a second mantle…of course I’m going to decorate it for fall! I really love having this extra space in my bedroom for extra fall decor. I think it’s romantic!
