A few weeks ago I discovered a cute little service called Happy Mommy Box. Have you heard of it? It’s very similar to subscription box services like Citrus Lane (which I love) or Stitch Fix (jury is still out), but this one is geared toward mommies. The Happy Mommy Box is aimed toward creating a care package just for moms in an effort to encourage and inspire. I thought it sounded like an amazing idea and I certainly need as much encouragement and inspiration as I can get these days. And it’s only $29, so I decided it was worth checking out.
I was so excited when my February box showed up on my doorstep. Here are the goodies I got:
I think my favorite things were the hair ties (I wear my hair up a LOT) and the button earrings. Overall, I was a little underwhelmed at the selection of items but that’s not to say that I wasn’t pleased. I guess I was just expecting it to be a little more substantial, like the boxes from Citrus Lane. Granted, the items in the Happy Mommy Box are all handmade products, many, if not most, of them from a small business owner. So I love supporting that. But I can’t help but admit I expected more.
Will I get another box? Yes, I think I’ll get one more and make my final decision then. I’m not sure that what I receive will justify spending $29 every month on myself, but I’m willing to give it another shot. If you’re interested in checking it out for yourself, you can order a Happy Mommy Box here. Let me know what you think!
