In just under a month, we will be moving into our new house and I couldn’t be more excited! The sellers of our new home did a great job updating the house, but some of the finishes aren’t necessarily my style. So I’ve been doing a lot of dreaming and planning about what I’m going to do to make this new home our own when we finally get to move in. As you can imagine, scheming home decor projects is one of my very favorite things to do…my husband, not so much! Poor guy didn’t know what he was getting into by marrying me.
The room that really sold me on our new house was the master bathroom. When I walked into the master bath and saw that amazing clawfoot tub, I literally starting jumping up and down and squealing like a little girl. My husband knew he was in trouble when he saw me so excited. I like to joke that we really just bought the tub and the house happened to come with it!
Of course, when I saw that tub, my creative juices started flowing and I knew I had to make a master bathroom mood board to keep all my ideas straight (and so I can see how everything comes together before executing in real life!). Here’s my grand plan for updating my soon-to-be dream bathroom:
